  • 1990 Joined SEGA Enterprises Ltd., engaging in the sales of commercial arcade machines such as the “UFO Catcher.” Through B2B sales operations, he gained firsthand experience in the importance of credit information and credit limits when dealing with corporate clients.
  • 1994 Experienced his first case of bad debt collection following a client’s bankruptcy.
  • 1995 In the aftermath of Japan’s economic bubble burst, he was transferred to the corporate administration department to study bankruptcy law and credit management. This was in response to a surge in bankruptcies and credit concerns not only among business partners, but also financial institutions, leasing companies, and trading houses.

  Handled over 40 corporate bankruptcy cases across various industries through 2001.

  • 2004 Proposed the establishment of a dedicated credit management team and was appointed as the person in charge of credit management operations and sales support for domestic business.
  • 2008 Successfully minimized losses in a major bankruptcy involving a large listed client. Based on this achievement, he was entrusted with credit management support across SEGA’s domestic and international group companies.

  Since then, he has developed the group’s credit management systems and resolved more than 190 credit-related issues.

  • 2013 Began receiving speaking invitations from major credit research agencies, including Teikoku Databank, Creditsafe, and Experian.
  • 2021 Resigned from SEGA Holdings Co., Ltd.
  • 2022–Present While serving as a director of a public facility in Tokyo, he continues to work as a Credit Management Advisor, providing lectures and one-on-one consultations for financial institutions and corporate clients.
