Hiroyuki Nakamura

Born in 1979 in Akita Prefecture, Japan. After graduating as a member of the inaugural class of the Faculty of International Cooperation at Shumei University, he began his career in corporate credit research.

  • 2002 Joined Teikoku Databank, Ltd. and engaged in the provision of credit reports on Japanese companies to overseas clients and vice versa, building a strong foundation in credit research practices.
  • 2005 Transferred to the Tokyo Branch, where he conducted credit investigations on approximately 1,000 companies across the construction, finance, real estate, and pachinko sectors, gaining extensive practical experience.
  • 2010 Head-hunted to join Experian Japan K.K., where he led new business development for international credit reporting services and established nationwide relationships with manufacturers and financial institutions.
  • 2017 Appointed as Director at Experian Japan. He oversaw the strategic direction of the business unit and development of credit data and compliance solutions, successfully quadrupling revenue within two years.
  • 2019 Invited by credit management expert Kazuhiko Makino to become CSO of Creditsafe Japan K.K. He contributed significantly to the business, including securing large-scale public sector projects, before stepping down in 2025.
  • 2021 Founded Naker Rating K.K. and assumed the role of President and CEO. With the mission of providing Japanese trading companies with “accurate and meaningful global credit information,” he actively engages in consulting and public speaking.
